Doorslammer drag racing fans everywhere couldn’t help but be impressed by some truly dramatic math put up by Markham Ontario’s Nick Agostino during the recently held 10th Anniversary Street Car SuperNationals held out at Las Vegas.

Racing his 2000 Chevy Camaro within the event’s Magnafuel Outlaw 10.5 class, the Canadian racer made the quickest run in the category ever for a small-block powered car hitting an unreal 6.105 secs on the quarter-mile to qualify #1 of 27 cars entered.   Nick’s short times were also records – 4.012 secs and 194.04 mph to the 1/8th mile.   Nick then won his first round but could not make the call for round #2 due to mechanical reasons.  (Photo courtesy of:  Bryan Epps – BME Photography)
