All Canadian/Family Super Gas Affair!

Last night’s final round dash in Super Gas for the NHRA’s Auto Plus Nationals title at Reading PA was an all Canadian family affair featuring father and son Al and Jason Kenny….

Al Kenny (far lane) topped his son Jason for the Super Gas title during NHRA’s Auto Plus Nationals event.

Driving their very similar prepared topless Corvettes, Al Kenny came out on top running a winning 9.906 secs to claim his 5^th career win at the NHRA national event level.  Jason Kenny (near lane) ran a perfect 9.900 in the final but was a tad early (-.009 RT).  

While this win came in Super Gas (9.90) it should also be noted that Al Kenny remains in very serious contention for the overall NHRA Super Comp (8.90) World Championship title – cool!
