Can-Am Claim to Clayton

Port Perry Ontario’s Bryan Clayton has been declared the 2014 season champion for the Can-Am Stock/Super Stock series….

That determination came on Saturday Oct. 4th when the scheduled final race of the season held at Cayuga Dragway Toronto Motorsports park was called off due to persistent rain.  Four racers had been in the championship hunt going into that event setting up what could have been a very dramatic conclusion – however Mother Nature had other plans.

The title was in fact Clayton’s 2nd series championship – he had also prevailed in 2012 driving the same GT/EA Chevy Camaro.

Bryan Clayton won the 2014 Can-Am Stock/Super Stock series title.
