Last weekend’s prestigious independent “Shakedown at the Summit” in Ohio once again had very persuasive Canadian racer participation….
Here is a photo extra featuring just some of the highlights as seen through the eyes of expert DragRaceCanada contributing photographer Brennan Shortall….

Adam Bastarache (from Georgetown ON) rode out this truly significant wheel stand in X275 class racing!

Frank Pompilio (from King City) – the defending 2014 Shakedown Champ – went to the Outlaw 10.5 final round again.

Woodbridge’s Enzo Pecchini had a superb runner-up finish in Outlaw Limited Street racing – narrowly losing the final driving his Mustang

Melanie Simmons-Salemi (who is originally from Orillia ON) entered the new MSR/G-Force Race Cars Firebird in Pro Mod

After his recent serious incident at Cayuga – great to see Wade Stevens back in action with his rebuilt Outlaw 10.5 Firebird.

Hamilton’s Bruce Boland was rewarded with a career quick and fast 5.792 secs at 248.89 mph – which qualified #2.

Jeff Roth was a fan favourite again at Norwalk racing his spectacular ’41 Willys from New Dundee Ontario

Toronto’s Jerry Mitrovic stood tall post race – and he had the brass knuckles to commemorate his huge Outlaw 10.5 win.
