It certainly doesn’t happen very often — but at NHRA’s Auto Plus New England Nationals last weekend there were in fact two Canadian-based Top Fuel dragsters entered at the same event.   Edmonton’s Tim Boychuk returned to the cockpit of the Paton Racing (Paris ON) based dragster after a 4-year absence for a reported one race stint while Ike Maier (Tottenham ON) once again drove John LaPorte’s machine.  While neither team many any truly great runs at the event — they both did qualify with Tim and Ike placing 15th and 16th respectively.  (Photos by:  Steve Embling & Dave DeAngelis)
