That’s what we want to do with Abruzzi Racing Transmissions All-Star Race for the racers in our region and series, we want to bring together the top 16 racers and see who emerges on Top of the Mountain!” Stated Series Director Andrew Stirk.

The 9.90 Index racers will have three race dates and two opportunities at coveted NHRA Hardware in 2014 as they compete at both the July 26-27 NHRA Provincial Championships (A points earning event for the Western New York Super Rod Association) as well as a single day event on Saturday September 13th for an NHRA Wally during the National Dragster Challenge race.
.
The Prominent engine builder from just north of Toronto is no stranger to Drag Racing or making strong reliable horsepower for quarter mile machines, as Stefko boasts a line-up of successful customers using both small block and big block bracket racing engines, along with customers who have run blown/supercharged engines well into the 6 second range at over 200 MPH. John Stekfo and Stefko racing engines are also extremely adept at building NHRA/IHRA class legal motors from Stock/Super Stock combos to the wildly radical Super Street/Gas/Comp throttle stop engines.
