Canada’s single biggest NHRA sanctioned event of the season will go down this weekend in British Columbia….
Mission Raceway Park – located immediately alongside the scenic Fraser River — hosts the LORDCO Auto Parts Nationals on June 3-5.
The event is one of 45 scheduled in North America (but the only one held in Canada) where drivers in the NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series earn points leading to divisional, regional and national championships as well as a chance at a share of the year-end purse of more than $519,000.
The Division’s Top Sportsman and Rig Rentals Top Dragster classes will run in conjunction with the event along with the Sportsman Motorcycle presented by Harley-Davidson.
Gates at Mission Raceway open at 7 a.m. each day. Qualifying and time trials start Friday at 9 a.m. and continue Saturday at 9 a.m. Comp Eliminator qualify Friday at 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. and Saturday at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car qualify Friday at 4 p.m. and Saturday at 1 and 4 p.m. Eliminations start Sunday at 9 a.m. Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car will run first round at noon.
(Editors Note: In an event added attraction dimension – attending fans can also witness round #1 for the fast door slammer circuit WDRL (Western Drag Racing League) – whose first event of the season scheduled for last weekend was rained out. Those circuit cars will be a bonus part of the weekend’s action.)

SATURDAY, June 4 – Gates open at 7 a.m. Qualifying and time trials continue at 9 a.m. Comp Eliminator qualify at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car qualify at 1 and 4 p.m.
SUNDAY, June 5 – Gates open at 7 a.m. Eliminations begin at 9 a.m. First round for Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car is scheduled for noon.
TICKETS: GENERAL ADMISSION/PIT PASS – Friday, $15; Saturday, $20; Sunday, $20. Children 12 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
