Multiple Canadian Winners at Seattle LODRS

Canadian drivers were a common sight in victory lane during the recent Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event held at Seattle’s scenic Pacific Raceway……

No less then five Western Canadian racers earned coveted NHRA “Wallys” at the conclusion of the August 16-17th event.

Mike Shannon, from Kelowna BC, who had won in the Super Gas class just two weeks prior during the NHRA’s O’Reilly NorthWest Nationals event duplicated his winning effort – but this time driving his Undercover-dragster in Super Comp.

BC-based drivers Rick McKinney (Richmond – Super Stock), Dave Jung (Surrey – Stock), Mike Lucas (Ft. St. John – Top Sportsman) and Jon Jenkins (Richmond – Sportsman Motorcycle) also scored impressive wins.
