Calgary’s Ken Mostowich ran his “new” Corvette Roadster at Pomona and promptly won 3 rounds with it in Super Gas
Jason Rupert had a good go at Pomona driving Geoff Goodwin’s Synoil-backed TAFC. They qualified #8 before falling to eventual winner John Lombardo in round #2.
Edmonton’s Don St. Arnaud ran a stupendous 276.41 mph during TAD qualifying — according to our records that is by far the fastest any Canadian has run in the category!
Samantha Kenny had a very strong outing during the NHRA AAA Auto Club Finals — going to the 5th round in Super Comp.
Congratulations to Canadian favorite fuel FC racer Jeff Arend who recorded a career quick 4.036 secs at Pomona. Jeff also took out John Force in round #1 on Sunday.
Bryon Setters (Red Deer AB) was the top qualifying Canadian in Super Stock — he ran is GT/CA Pontiac to a .952 sub index for the #4 position.

Stefan Kondolay had a valiant attempt in the chase for the NHRA World Super Comp crown. The B.C. racer fell just short however with a -.002 foul in round four.
Les Davenport and Jirka Kaplan were very impressive during their NHRA national event debut together in TAFC. They qualified #5 and won in round one.

Bob Gullett (from Calgary) qualified his cool ’68 G/S Nova high on the Stock eliminator grid — his -.937 was good for #6
Versatile and very talented Canadian racer Mike Shannon (from Kelowna) ran cars in both Super Gas and Super Comp during the AAA Auto Club Finals.
