Top Fuel Line-up for Edmonton Confirmed

Top Fuel dragsters will take center stage this weekend at Edmonton’s Mopar-sponsored IHRA Rocky Mountain Nitro Jam.  Indiana’s Bruce Litton will headline within the  scheduled 4-car “Chicago style” event shootout…

Bruce Litton and his Lucas Slick Mist Top Fuel Dragster Team have been focusing their efforts stateside with the NHRA – and this focus has paid off. At his last outing, the recent Thunder Valley Nationals, Litton went to the quarter-finals. Now, Litton is redirecting his efforts toward the IHRA as he heads to the Rocky Mountain Nationals in Edmonton, Alberta for this weekend.

Throughout their many years in the IHRA, Litton and the Lucas Oil Team have built up quite a fan base, both in the U.S. and Canada. Litton looks forward to returning to Edmonton, where Lucas Oil fans abound:

“Lucas has such a strong presence in Canada,” told Litton. “It’s always great to go to events there and connect with the Lucas fans. They are an enthusiastic group that loves to watch racing and cheer on Team Lucas. We’re really looking forward to going back to Edmonton and bringing nitro to all our Lucas fans.”

Crossing the border won’t be the only place one can find the Lucas Oil Top Dragster these days. Litton’s 300MPH machine is also featured on promotional material for two upcoming NHRA events. The “Big Go,” NHRA’s premier event, contested in Litton’s and Lucas’ hometown of Indianapolis, is being promoted with paraphernalia featuring the Lucas Oil team of drag cars, including Litton’s own. And if you happen to be in the Minneapolis area, you just may see Litton’s dragster on a billboard advertising the Lucas Oil Nationals in Brainerd, Aug. 16-19.

With Lucas’ strong presence in Indianapolis and their sponsorship of the Brainerd event, it’s wonderful to see a Lucas Oil dragster on promotional materials.
