VP RACING FUELS TO POWER SNOWMOBILE DRAG SERIES
VP Racing Fuels, recognized as the power source in professional and sportsman drag racing since the mid-70’s, has been named Official Fuel of the Pro Stock Snowmobile Drag Racing Series within NHRA’s Northeastern Division 1. As part of the agreement, VP’s C14+ and C16 have been designated as Spec Fuels for the series……
“We’ve fueled every Pro Stock car that’s won an NHRA World Championship since 1975, including 25 consecutive years before NHRA designated VP the Official Spec Fuel for the class,” said Jim Kelly, VP’s Eastern Regional Manager-Race Fuel Sales. “Designating VP’s C14+ and C16 as spec fuels for the Pro Stock Snowmobiles is another example of a series choosing VP and its products not just for our top quality and maximum power but also the professional service, tech support and extensive North American dealer network that racers and racing organizations can rely on to go racing with confidence.”
“Pro Stock Snowmobile is one of the classes that draws a unique racer due to the fact these vehicles are fast, open air and close to the ground,” said Bob Lang, Director of NHRA Division 1. “The fans get a thrill out of watching the sleds and enjoy seeing something different, which adds excitement to our shows. A fast turn-around time between runs keeps the action going and the fans most times get to see qualifying and eliminations all in one day.”
The 2013 series opened in April at Virginia Motorsports Park and visits Lebanon Valley, Napierville, New England Dragway, and Cecil County this summer before concluding its season September 6-8 at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.
