Busy October for VP Racing Fuels in Northeast
October may mean fall colors and Oktoberfest to many but for VP’s Northeast Office it’s all business as the curtains start to close on racing in the region….
October 2-5, VP will be on site at the NHRA Nationals at Maple Grove Raceway near Reading, Pennsylvania providing racing fuel for all the Pro and Sportsman gasoline classes and Nitro for Top Fuel and Funny Car teams including John Force and his 300 mph daughters Courtney and Brittany.
October 7th, VP will be on site at Watkins Glen International to supervise the installation of the new VP Racing Fuels signs around the facility. Earlier this year VP signed a multi-year agreement with The Glen making VP Racing Fuels its Official Fuel Supplier.
October 8-12, VP will be on site for Super DIRT Week at the Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Staff will be providing spec fuel service for Big Blocks, 358’s, Sportsman and Pro Stock at the Mile as well as fueling the USAC Silver Crown cars. Additionally, the team will be supporting VP tracks and drivers in the region as they race in dirt events during the week at Five Mile Point, Rolling Wheels, Brewerton and the Short Track Super Series at I-88 Speedway. VP will also be back at Maple Grove Raceway to fuel the Pennsylvania Dutch Classic drag race, part of an agreement extending VP’s presence at this event through 2016.
Monday, October 13th, VP will attend the IMSA Series Awards Banquet in Manhattan to help crown the Champions. VP supplies spec fuel for IMSA’s Tudor United SportsCar Championship, Continental Tire and other road race series across North America.
