Driver Wes Goddard and car owner Fred DeJonge had a superb event – going to the PM “final four” and running career quick and fast times at 5.877 secs and 252.00 mph (the event’s top speed).
Wade Stevens had his class act Outlaw 10.5 Firebird from Queensville Ontario entered.
Dan Pepper (from Henshall ONT) had a great go in the Open Comp tournament – placing R/UP within that 74 car field.
Ontario-native Melanie Salemi was super impressive racing her car at Norwalk – including 3 consecutive 5.87 secs ETs (!) while advancing to the PM championship final round.
Al Martorino (from Cobourg ON) raced his ever-improving Mustang in PM – qualifying #12 in the 24-car field.
Eddie Timal brought his awesome 2000 Corvette down from Toronto to race in the Outlaw 10.5 class

After both going to the final round of the 2015 race – Paolo Guist (far lane) and Derek Hawker didn’t fair as well this year. Paolo crashed his car on Friday night and Hawker (the newly crowed USDRS champ) lost out in round #1
Driving his stunning looking Chevy Camaro, Jay Santos (from Halton Hills ON) won his first round match in PM class competition.
In his first ever “Shakedown” event appearance – Louis Ouimette (from Timmins) qualified his new ’70 Camaro #5 for TS and advanced to the 2nd round.
Sylvain Nadon (from Laval PQ) ran very fast in TS qualifying – hitting a 6.725 secs for 11th on the sheets – but he had a red-light foul in round #2.
Racing his ’98 Mustang – Woodbridge’s Enzo Picchini was the only Canadian car entered in the event’s Outlaw Limited Street class category.
