Coming Soon – Canadian Street Car Nationals

Mid August is now upon us and with that comes once again one of the most anticipated independent drag racing events of the season – the Canadian Street Car Nationals…..

Presented once again by Joe DaSilva (DaSilva Racing and Mustang Toy Store – Pickering ON) the 2012 version will again be hosted by Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Motorsports Park– this coming August 24-26^th weekend.

Some of the fiercest heads-up and bracket racing fast street cars in the nation will once again coagulate at the event for annual bragging rites. The event will crown titlists in numerous class categories including:

EZ Street
Pro Stock
8.90 Extreme Street
9.90 Wild Street
10.90 Modified Street
11.90 Real Street
12.90 Pure Street
Open Comp
Pro Comp
King of the Street Bike
Bike & Sled

In addition each bracket class winner will be eligible for the event’s marquee “King of the Street Showdown” on Sunday afternoon.

The family orientated weekend event will again feature free camping (with weekend pass) and a huge Show & Shine car show.

A special added attraction this year will be some exhibition jets – this year being a pair of Jet-powered trains (Yes — that is not a misprint – trains (?!)
