Grand Bend Motorplex — Junior Dragster Program Enhanced

For 2014….GRAND BEND MOTORPLEX JUNIOR DRAGSTER PROGRAM the BEST EVER !…..

Thanks to a large increase in support from John Pizzo/ Veloce Italian Kitchen, and continued support from Leaf Racewear the Junior age class programs (8-12 & 13-17) will see the largest weekly and yearend payouts in GBM’s history. The overall weekly purse per class will increase 27% to a guaranteed $235 with $110 going to the Winner, and $55 to the Runner up. The yearend payout in each class (top 5) increases to $625 in Cash, plus Champions jackets, Trophies, Contigencies, etc.

New for 2014 is the Stack Bros. Racing sponsored OUTLAW 330 program. This idea was brought to us by the Stack family and supported by many other junior families. It will replace our current Junior 7.90 program. This new OUTLAW 330 program has many benefits as it provides an additional race opportunity to more competitors (Master 12-17 yrs old & Advanced 10-17 yrs old) than the 7.90 program which was restricted to Master class competitors only due to IHRA rules. The OUTLAW program will be a Staggered Pro Tree, no Deep- stage Bracket program contested at 330 feet, allowing competitors to run as quick as possible without violating IHRA rules. We (GBM) have sent our computer back to Compulink to be upgraded, and to add the 330 timing option, allowing us to minimize downtime when switching between classes.
