March Meet Advance Tickets

Just in time for the holiday shopping season, tickets for the 2013 Bakersfield March Meet are now available on-line. Racer entry forms are also available for event participants at www.autoclubfamosoraceway.com
“Every year we really strive to put on a good show for the fans and participants. The March Meet is an important event to the local Bakersfield and Kern County economy and we want the event and sport to keep growing”, said Blake Bowser, VP and GM of the Kern County Racing Association.
“Last year we expanded the March Meet to 4 days and we’ve heard nothing but praise from the fans. Every year we look for ways to improve the experience for the spectators and participants. In 2013 we’re looking forward to building on last year’s success with another great 4 day event.” Said Bowser
”The last couple of years we have started offering tickets to the March Meet on-line. We wanted to make the ticket buying process easier for the fans and improve the logistics of getting spectators in the gates on a Saturday and Sunday” said Bowser.
Auto Club Famoso Raceway has again partnered with TheFOAT.com. TheFOAT.com has handled the on-line ticket sales quickly and efficiently. Purchasing tickets on-line allows fans to bypass the lines at the gate and get right into the event.
Race fans can purchase a “Super 4-Day Event Pass” for $100 online. There are also specially priced passes for three days (Friday, Saturday and Sunday: $75) and two days (Saturday and Sunday: $55).
Walk up tickets for the event will go on sale March 7 at the track. Ticket prices are $25 for Thurs., Mar. 7; $25 for Fri., Mar. 8; $30 for Sat., Mar. 9; and $30 for Sun., Mar. 10. Tickets for children ages 6-12 are $10 each day and kids 5 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult with paid admission.
Other prices announced include, camping: $105 for all four day; VIP parking: $50 (good for the entire event); and VIP four-day Quarter Mile Courtyard seating: adults $165, children $105 (space is limited).
March Meet tickets can be ordered on- line at www.autoclubfamosoraceway.com. Racer, Swap Meet and Vendor entry forms can be found on the website as well.
