TNT Super Series Increases Racer Payouts for 2011
Event payouts go up – at least $600 to win – entry fee stays the same….
One of the most competitive sportsman series in the country, the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series (TNTSS) is now paying out more to the racers. Both the guaranteed winner’s purse and the round money will be higher in 2011 at every TNTSS event.
The series, known for placing the racer first, will guarantee at least $600 to win at all points events in 2011 – regardless of the number of cars. And according to the TNTSS rules, the payouts will go even higher with 28 cars or more – which already happens a lot.
Round money increases as well to $30 for EVERY round win. Yet event entry fee remains at only $50 and points registration is also unchanged at $40.
Ted Barnes, TNTSS Director says that it’s a combination of the event sponsors and the series title sponsor that makes this possible. “I have to thank all the sponsors involved in the series, especially Joe Boniferro of Joe’s Transmission. Without his help, we wouldn’t be in a position to do this.”
Returning in 2011 are the very popular SPECIALTY AWARDS. There are prizes for #1 qualifier, first round loser with the best reaction time and first round loser closest to the index. “And the ELITE FINALIST AWARD is coming back as well – Stay tuned to the website for all the details!” added Ted.
The hope is this will draw even more racers into the already extremely successful 10.90 series. “My goal is to hit 40 cars at an event in 2011,” added Ted.
