DSE Series Announces Year End Points Fund

Competitors in the DSE Sportsman Racing Series will be able to look forward to racing for Championships and great cash prizes this summer in Super Pro, Modified Eliminator, Super Bike/Sled and Street Eliminator.

“We have been working hard trying to secure Advertising Partners for the series so that we can guarantee the year end payouts. We are really excited about what we have put together, we feel it’s a strong payout for a series in its first season, and we are hoping in the following years that we can grow it to become one of the  best paying bracket Race Series in Ontario.” Stated Series Director Andrew Stirk.

Stirk would add, “We are still looking for more support. With the growing buzz around the racing community and the almost daily increase in interest from fans and racers, we feel the series presents a great opportunity for companies looking to promote and advertise their services/products, whether they are a large automotive or performance manufacturer or local company looking to increase awareness.

The point system for all the classes will reward one (1) point per round win and an extra point to win the race, the series will consist of taking a competitors best seven (7) points’ totals out of the ten (10) events to determine their points total.

In addition, all point members will be eligible to win series contingency prizes such as the Fram Filters package, Finish First Auto Polish Package and race in the NHRA Division 1 Bracket Finals September 19-22, 2012 at Lebanon Valley Dragway in New York. DSE Sportsman Series Champions will be the Race of Champions representatives running for a $1000 prize at the Bracket Finals with the Main Event winners getting the opportunity to attend the NHRA Winternationals and Race for a NHRA World Championship!

Points memberships will cost $60 for all full size classes and $25 for Jr Dragsters. The  Series Opener presented by Joes Transmission of Niagara falls Ont  will take place at Toronto Motorsports Park in Cayuga Ontario June 9th and 10th, and run in conjunction with Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series and the Can-Am Stock/Super Stock Series.
