Abruzzi Transmission to Title Sponsor DSE All-Star event again in 2015

Ohio-based Abruzzi Transmission and Torque Converters will be returning for their third season with the DSE Sportsman Racing Series offering contingency certificates to top points racers, as well as continuing to title sponsor the only Bracket oriented All-Star Race in all of Canada featured exclusively in the DSE Sportsman Racing Series.

Class Champions in Hill Racing/RPM Magazine Modified, Vinyl Window Designs Super Pro and HeadsUpRacer.com Quick 16 presented by Lowdown Hot Rods will all receive $300 certificates while 2nd place will receive a $200 certificate and 3rd place a $100 certificate in conjunction with other Cash and Prizes.

The Abruzzi Transmission All-Star Final will feature a match-up between the Box Side Champion and the No Box Side Champion who will square off for the Special All-Star Championship Trophy along with the $1000 Winner prize.

Additionally the DSE Sportsman Series will be raffling off an Abruzzi Racing Transmissions Custom built Torque Converter that will be awarded on Sunday September 6th during the 5th Annual Dragstar Components Labour Day Championships presented by Racecards.ca . Racers and fans can buy tickets to enter the Raffle at the DSE Registration Trailer, or from the DSE Racing Team at any event they attend. Tickets are $10 for one or $20 for three.

The 4th Annual Summer Nationals will once again see SteveHayward.ca and Real Mortgage Associates title sponsoring the third event in the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series, which will also play host to two major NHRA Events in 2015 one being the NHRA National Dragster Challenge and the other featuring the Jr Drag Racing League Challenge.

The Highlight of the Summer Nationals will be the NHRA National Dragster Challenge and the NHRA Jr Drag Racing League Challenge, which will allow Racers in Super Pro, Modified, Quick 16, Street Eliminator, Super Bike/Sled and Jr Dragster to compete for authentic NHRA Wally Trophies during the weekend. Jr Dragster Competitors will actually have two opportunities at NHRA Wally’s as both Saturday and Sunday’s main event winners will take home the coveted Trophies.

The first event in the 2015 season for DSE Sportsman Racing Series Competitors will be the 4th Annual Lowdown Hot Rods Season Opener, which takes place June 6th-7th at Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park. The DSE Sportsman Racing Series boasts a (to date) $17,000 Year end points fund, and features a point’s structure where racers claim their best 8 out of 10 point’s races during the season.
