Bob Blair (near lane – from DeWinton AB) roared to the #1 qualifying slot in Super Stock and then won his FSS/B class title.
This great semi-final dash in Super Gas featured two Canadian class powers with Ken Mostowich taking out Jason Kenny. Mostowich then went on to win the race!
Craig Pelrine (from Red Water AB) wheeled his awesome machine to the events’ added attraction Top Fuel Harley title.
Casey Plaizier had a great effort in Stock – taking his C/SA Firebird to the 5th round before getting beat.
Greg Hunter drove Geoff Goodwin’s Synoil-sponsored TAFC to the semi final round and recorded a career best 5.590 secs!
Mike Williams – who is from Tilley AB – won two rounds in TS with his super consistent Pontiac GXP
Tom Nolan’s Winners Choice Racing GTDA G5 went deep in Super Stock – winning 3 rounds
Canada’s Trevor Richie went to the “final four” in Top Dragster class racing
Saskatchewan’s Grant Singer beat fellow provincial rival Abe Loewen in round #1 of Super Stock
Left Coast TAD powerhouse Shawn Cowie qualified 5th but lost out to Chris Demke in round #2.
Mike Pelrine (from Fort Saskatchewan) ran his TFH to a 6.362 secs and 225.97 mph in round one (which was low ET and top speed).
