PBSS Season Wraps Up!
Pro Bike Rider Ted Glinny wins PBSS season finale at Grand Bend Motorplex – Dan Cryderman clinches series championship….
The sixth and final event of the 2013 Pro Bike & Sled Series was completed over the “Thunder by the Beach” Weekend at the Grand Bend Motorplex and Ted Glinny marched through the field of motorcycles and snowmobiles to win this race, his third of the year.

.
Pro Bike rider Glinny, of Milton, Ontario, qualified his 2000 Kawasaki in fourth with a 8.462-second, 149.80-mph posting behind the top three qualifiers, John Orfanidis of Toronto, Ontario, Cryderman, of Thamesville, Ontario, and Dave Vandereyken, of Acton, Ontario.
.
Glinny eliminated Pro Sled riders James Goudreau of Sudbury, Ontario and Bill Anderson of Seaforth, Ontario, and then had a bye run to meet up with number six qualifier and Pro Bike rider Melissa Pluim of Pefferlaw, Ontario.
.
Glinny’s 8.50, 150.70 gave him enough to eliminate Pluim and her Suzuki in the final and also take his third win of the 2013 season. Vandereyken was a semi-finalist in the event.
.
Series winner Cryderman qualified sixth for the race, and although he was taken out in first round action, he amassed enough points to win his first PBSS championship with 1118 points.
.
Glinny placed second in points with 1056 points for the season, while Pro Bike riders Dave Vandereyken placed third with 967 points, the team of Marty Kuiack and Melissa Pluim of Acton fourth with 951 points, and Orfanidis placed fifth with 880 points.
