DSE Sportsman Series Renews Modified Eliminator Sponsorship

Dilts Piston Hydraulics will again back DSE Sportsman Racing Series Modified Eliminator class for 2013 Season…..

The DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series is pleased to announce Dilts Piston Hydraulics as the official class sponsor for Modified Eliminator during the 2013 Season. Opened in 1988 Dilts Piston Hydraulics features a full service hydraulic repair facility as well as stocking one of the areas largest U-Cup seal and O-ring supplies for those “fast” repairs.

“We at the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series are ecstatic  to have Dilts Piston Hydraulics on board with us this season” stated Series Director Andrew Stirk  “Bringing Dilts Piston Hydraulics on board with the DSE Sportsman Racing Series is a big step in making us one of Eastern Canada’s most premier Racing Series” Stirk would add.dse srs2

The Dilts Piston Hydraulics Modified Eliminator category features an all run field of Non-Delay box equipped vehicles that allows transmission brakes and RPM activated shifters. However, footbrake competitors should not be discouraged from participating as the 2012 Modified Champion Jarrod Kolne, came from behind on the final race day to win the championship in his 12.70-second foot braked 2002 Chevy Camaro.

“It was great to be able to participate in some of the DSE Series bracket races in 2012. I am lucky enough to have a car that fits multiple classes, and when I can, I’ll always enter a bracket race. More seat time in a competitive series can only help the end goal of making it to the finals! I am impressed with the professionalism of the DSE Sportsman Racing Series, how its run, the competition that shows up for the events, and the friendliness of those that fill the classes. The DSE boys are putting the fun back in drag racing!” – Ian Hill Dilts Piston Hydraulics Inc.

The first two races of the season for the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series take place on June 8th and 9th at Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park. For more information on 2013 Race dates and Series information please visit www.sportsmanracingseries.ca
