Edmonton Icebreaker!

Winter weary Alberta drag racing fans finally got a taste for things to come this year at Edmonton’s Castrol Raceway last weekend…

The premium Western Canadian facility hosted some test and tune sessions on Saturday and Sunday and that attracted some interesting machinery.

While the weather wasn’t exactly perfect (some snow flurries still on Saturday) a good field of local race cars took advantage of things to build their tune-ups for the coming season’s campaign.   That included the awesome Sitko Family/Team Ace Arrow nitro Nostalgia Funny Car as well as some of the prominent Rocky Mountain Nostalgia Funny Car circuit members; Cal Tebb’s GTO, Ryan Hodgson Firebird and Jim Fersch’s “The Bulldogger” Barracuda.
