Pretty significant news from within Canada’s TAD class contingent!….

Brantford Ontario’s Chatterson Racing have announced a major move for their racing camp — adding a second injected-nitro car to their equation.

Just recently the team have affirmed a future strategy by acquiring the entire car and racing operation from fellow provincial class powerhouses — Jeff and Gary Veale.

The team will commence it’s track forward as a 2-car operation — with both proven cars having previously visited national event winners circles (either IHRA or NHRA).

“We’ve been keeping this one quiet — but it’s finally time,” said Jeff Chatterson. “What started as a dream has continued to grow because of the incredible support from our family, sponsors, crew, and fans.”

“The purchase of a second A/Fuel dragster—a huge milestone for our team and the beginning of an exciting new chapter,” he added. “This isn’t just about adding another race car – it’s an expansion to our program, creating more opportunities, and taking Chatterson Racing to the next level. There has been a lot of hard work behind the scenes to make this happen — but now we’re just getting started.”

Fans attending the upcoming Canadian Nationals event weekend (at Grand Bend Motorplex – July 31-August 2) will be the first to see this 2-car operation in action. While the second car will feature a “guest driver” for at that event — it also will be an anticipated gateway for another young Canadian driver talent to make the leap into the TAD class — son Ryan Chatterson.

Currently, Ryan who plays an intricate part for Chatterson Racing from a tuning perspective has his Super Comp licence – which will be graduated to the next competition level accordingly.

Chatterson Racing were quick to acknowledge some massive support which is allowing this evolution — including sponsors: Strode’s BBQ & Deli, Vodka Friday, Jensen’s Auto detailing and Fast Eddie Racewear.”
