Enhanced Payouts for TNT Super Series

TNT Super Series Enhances Payouts for 2013 Including Over $9000 in Cash and Prizes at Yearend  – New structure will see more $1000/win paydays for 10.90 sportsman racing series……

The Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series continues to be a leader in the world of sportsman drag racing.  The series based solely on 10.90 racing will pay back more to the racers in 2013 than it has in any previous season.

The TNTSS will hand out more than $9000 in cash and prizes, not including event payouts and contingency postings, making the TNTSS one of the most lucrative sportsman series in the country.  More importantly, changes to the event payout structure should attract even higher car counts.

According to Ted Barnes, TNTSS Director of Operations, more events will pay $1000/win.  “Even TNTSS events with light car counts should fall into the $700/win category.”

With the new structure, a winner gets $700 with as few as 17 cars…. $800 at 24 cars…. and a stout $1000 with only a 30 car field.TNTSS-300px

“In a series where the average car count was more than 24 cars in 2012 including three events over 30 cars, we’re very excited to be a part of this,” said title sponsor Joe Boniferro.

To fund these changes, participants will receive round money starting with a second round win, aligning the TNTSS with the rest of the industry.

“We couldn’t do any of this without the support of so many,” added Ted.  “It’s because we have terrific sponsors and competitors that this series flourishes the way it does.  Each of them are involved because they believe in what we do.  They want to help sportsman racing to continue to grow.”

It appears that sentiment applies to title sponsor Joe Boniferro as well.  Joe’s Transmission Service will return as the series title sponsor in 2013 for the seventh consecutive year.  “Joe Boniferro has been with us since the series began in 2006 and quite frankly is irreplaceable.  We couldn’t do what we do without his support, both financial and otherwise,” commented Ted. “He brings so much to the table, all in the interest of helping local sportsman racers.”

The 2013 schedule has been finalized with two new dates added at Empire Dragway.  Visit www.tntsuperseries.com for all the latest information on the most watched sportsman series in the country and to find out how you can be a part of it all.

About the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series (TNTSS):

Since it began in 2006, the TNT Super Series has grown into one of the strongest, most competitive sportsman drag racing series in North America and has catapulted many competitors to success on the national and divisional stages.

The TNTSS is a self-governing organization with input from its teams.  Based on NHRA’s Super Street & IHRA’s Hot Rod classes, competitors run on a 10.90 index in the 1/4 mile (7.00 in the 1/8 mile) and race for a guaranteed purse that pays back more than 100% of the racer’s entry fees.  The yearend points fund provides cash & prizes to the top eight finishers and the Series Champion receives a prize package worth over $4000.00.

The TNTSS is committed to providing the highest level of competition backed by solid media support to showcase its participants across North America.  Events are contested at various drag racing facilities in southern Ontario and western New York and put on a spectacular show for the drag racing fan.
