Canadian drag racing well represented at major Canadian Auto Show….
The 2025 edition for the marquee annual Canadian International Auto Show (Running Feb 14 to 23) at the Metro Toronto Convention Center included some proud and notable Canadian drag racers and their machines on-display.

Two of Eastern Canada’s most popular race cars – the Top Fuel dragsters owned by Todd & Tony Paton (Paton Racing) and by Smax & Aidan Smith (Ant Hill Mob) – were front and centre for the drag racing portion of the Auto Show.

Venice & Lorraine Perno (Owners of Performance Cellar) at Stoney Creek ON, had their multi-time NHRA national record holding SS/CS Mustang on display.

Both Wally & Chelsea Clark and Kevin Dundas had their Super Stock class machines on hand. Wally & Chelsea will hit the road immediately after the car show to travel to NHRA’s season opener at Gainesville with their Pontiac Grand Am. Kevin Dundas – now President of Canada’s legend name speed equipment company Karbelt — bought in his pride & joy fan favourite Mopar Hemi car.

The Canadian International Car Show also welcomed the fully restored ’53 Corvette which won 2X IHRA World Championships for Kenny Lang & Al Billes (2008-09). The car has been meticulously rebuilt by it’s new owner and driver Paul Coull (Drumbo ON).

A blast from the past was also on display! That’s the “Charley Horse” AA/A which was campaigned as early as NHRA Pomona way back in 1970. The vintage altered is owned by Charley and Scott Haviland.
