Western Canadian Motorcycle drag racing specialist primes for high profile final finish….

The upcoming NHRA Summit Racing ET Finals (Oct 28-Nov 1st at Las Vegas) will include some impressive Canadian engagement with top ET racers from both Eastern and Western Canada qualifying for with that elite completion.

Not the least on that list is Riley Toth, part of the reputed and multi-machine Toth Racing camp based from Medicine Hat Alberta.

For 2nd generation racer Riley Toth, it will be in fact his second chance to win a overall NHRA Championship for ET racing – having first accomplished that back for the 2017 season.  (Details: HERE) Riley will represent Western Canada as part NHRA’s North West Division 6 team effort.

“I feel honoured to be able to get the opportunity to race for a NHRA national championship again after 9 years — since I won in Pomona,” Riley stated. “Our road to this came racing at Edmonton’s RAD Torque Raceway event. There wasn’t a huge back count but every single entry was as good as they come. I raced against racers Bob Henrie, Cody Cumpton, Don Depeel — who have all had the privilege to run for national championships in the past — on my way to the win.”

Racing his team’s Kawasaki ZX-11 – Alberta’s Riley Toth will seek a 2nd career NHRA Summit ET World Championship crown – coming later this month.

“I’m very thankful for sponsors Summit & Hoosier Tires for expanded the ET Finals to including specifically Western Canada. 2026 has been good for both me and my dad (Dave) — finishing 1-2 in the final John Scotti Canadian championship series it is pretty special to both of us. While my Dad may
be nearing retirement — he will always be able to mix it up with the best of us. My brother Zach too was only a few points out of third (for the JSCCS) and if not for mechanical failures this year he might have won!”

“On the surface our season results show as success for all three of us — but no body knows how many hours we have put into our program this year,” Riley further explained. “This year’s campaign was bit rough — because we had motors in and out of bikes and motor swaps happening seemingly every single week with all three bikes. But with our team we are very lucky to have the support systems we all have at home with my mother (Gail), my wife (Sarah), my brothers fiancé (Renee). They are truly the backbone to success.”

Specifically Toth Racing is comprised of the machines — all Kawasaki brand – Riley’s KZ 1500cc 2000 Kawasaki ZX-11, Zach’s KZ 1500cc 2000 Kawasaki ZX-7 and Dave’s is a KZ 1500cc 1989 Kawasaki ZX-10.

Toth Racing —  to victory lane — has been and is a most common occurrence within Western Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing.

Riley did underscore too some partners that help their entire team operation including: Cory@ Medicine Hat Motorcycle Service – Mark @ Spider Electric Ltd – Paul @ Fast by Gast – Val @ Energycoil – Ray @ Fast Times Machining & City Auto Parts.

“We are excited about the possibility (for @ Las Vegas) and have all eyes on the big win,” Riley added. “I’d also like to say that all the Dragbike racers we race with in Western Canada and the USA are some of the best people around — like one big team including all our local racers in Medicine Hat.  A big shout out too for Badlands Harley Davidson (Dunmore Alberta) for supporting our MHDRA bike class.”

DragRaceCanada will post Canadian highlights and results from the NHRA Summit Racing ET finals.
