Winners are summarised from IHRA Outlaw Nitro Series race #2 event of 2026!….
IHRA invaded former NHRA-sanctioned facility Virginia Motorsports Park for the first time last weekend for their 2nd of 12 Outlaw Nitro Series events marked for this season. Eliminator winner highlights included below.

Veteran racer Scott Palmer collected the Top Fuel title at VMP when he powered past Gary Pritchett in the final round: 3.075 secs to 3.183 secs. R/UP Pritchett – who had won the IHRA season opener race – set low ET at 3.033 secs while qualifying #1 in the 8-car field.

Illinois-based Dale Creasy Jr., remained undefeated so far for IHRA FC racing winning again. He recorded low ET of the race in the final (3.194 secs) to defeat low qualifier Del Worsham.

The Fuel Altered cars came to play at Virginia too – with David Miller (from Ohio) winning. Miller beat #1 qualifier Ryan Hill in the championship round.

Mountain Motor Pro Stock racing attracted an impressive field of cars. Johnny Pluchino (from NY) prevailed with his Ford Mustang – over 23 other entries.

Ohio’s Phil Esz won in TAFC racing with his Camaro which is tuned by Canadian Hall of Fame legend – Les Davenport. He ran low ET and top speed of the event in the final – 3.592 secs 213.77 mph.

Northeast terror lady racer Jackie Fricke collected for TAD – guiding her injected nitro car past Joey Severance in the final round.

Outlaw Pro Mod cars were part of the event parcel – with Mississippi’s Bubba Stanton prevailing. (Further details on this class car racing can be viewed within our Pro Mod Portal subsection).

In IHRA — cars that recognised elsewhere for FS/XX or FSS – are called the Pro Stock class. Tony Scott — who won the season opener prevailed again with his COPO Camaro.
IHRA’s competition from within its Pro-Am Sportsman racing categories featured wins by Anthony Mini (Snowmobile/Sled), Dane Davies (Top Dragster), Mike Alexander Jr. (Top Sportsman), Tracy Robbins (Super Stock) and Dan Fletcher (Stock). Index racing titles went to Richard Price (S/R), Mitchell Harkes (Quick Rod) and Lawrence Paden (Hot Rod).
