Jeff Arend produced one of the quickest runs of his career during Fuel FC qualifying hitting a superb 4.060 secs to take the 8th slot


New Brunswick's Mark Howes had his cool SS/JA '71 Duster entered in national event competition for the first time and hit a career best 10.298 secs


Montreal's Serge Couterier had his classic '64 Dodge B/SA entered in Stock eliminator


Todd Lesenko's 4.267 secs best just missed qualifying for the nitro FC field (4.231 secs bump)


Bob Park (from Dundas ON) qualified his GT/GA #36 of 81 cars entered in Super Stock


Sean Gaffney (from Clarence Creek ON) had his high-flying SS/FA '67 Camaro at E-Town


Manitoba’s Kenny Lang had another very strong effort in NHRA Pro Mod — going to the semi-final round with the Al Billes-tuned Summit Racing Equipment Camaro
