Calgary-based T&T Promotions poised to present 2nd edition major ET Racing event….

Western Canadian ET bracket racers are well advised to file for entry for the prize heavy — Western Canadian Summer Classic – scheduled for July 23-25th at the Medicine Hat Drag Strip.

Created and hosted by T&T Motorsports/Promotions – the event which will be presented by RAD Torque, GMack Oilfield Services and Total Dairy Solutions — is boasting one of the biggest ET racing payouts in Canadian history – totalling over $100,000.

Following a full $5K Warmup Race on the Friday — Saturday will feature some ferocious competition — there is a Main Event ($10K to win), then a Saturday Night 48 Car Top Shootout that pays $20K as well as a new Saturday Night 32 Car Bottom Shootout ($10K to win).

Sunday’s racing has another $10K to win Main Event, and the area’s Junior Dragster racers will have two $1000 to win Main Events – one Saturday and one Sunday. 

“After a very successful inaugural version I am just hoping that we can keep that momentum going for this years version,” said Travis Ringguth – event promotor.  “Our objective is to give even more money and prizes away and continue to make this the best race each year for racers to put on their calendar.”

“I think we will be able to hit the 200 entry mark this year, including juniors,” he added. “I’m pretty excited to say that I think we might be the biggest Bracket event that this side of the country has seen thus far! Couldn’t do it without all of the awesome companies and people standing in my corner — as well as my gratitude to all the support from racers.”
