WELD RACING PUTS THE PEDAL TO THE METAL FOR CHARITY

Racing Community Comes Together for a Great Cause…….

WELD Racing is proud to support two great Kick It for Children’s Cancer charity events, part of the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation this week in Knoxville, IA.

First is the WELD Racing Tony Stewart Kart Race Spectacular, originally planned to feature Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon racing against participants in each heat race.  Due to injury, a replacement for Tony Stewart will be announced.

The kart race winner will receive a one-of-a-kind trophy presented by Jeff Gordon and Tony Stewart (pending injury update), and the entire A Main will play in the Tony Stewart Kick It Cup kickball game.

On Friday, August 9 at Knoxville’s Young’s Park, four teams composed of the best sprint car drivers in the world, their families, and fans will meet for a day of kickball fun to raise money to fight children’s cancer.

Between the innings, there will be an auction to raise additional funds for the charity.  WELD Racing is supporting the auction by donating a set of WELD forged aluminum truck wheels.  The highest bidder may choose from 10 styles in our 17″ or 20” line of truck wheels, a retail value of more than $3,000.00.
