Ford in Flavor this Weekend at St. Thomas
Canadian fast street car proponent Joe DaSilva is reviving an event concept for St. Thomas Dragway this coming weekend….
This July 13-14th will see the return after a ten year absence of the Canadian Ford Challenge.
Fast Fords of various shapes and sizes will be featured this weekend at Cayuga Dragway
The two-day feature will present drag racing in 10 different street and strip categories, a giant show and shine car show as well as a Saturday morning cruise to the track.
“Our expectations are for some 300 show and shine cars and upwards of 400 race cars,” said DaSilva, who also is the driving force behind the annual Canadian Street Car Nationals event (coming later this summer). “We are very pleased to have every Ford Club in Ontario involved in our race.”

Saturday’s cruise hits the road 07:30 AM from the Yorkdale Mall.
The event’s primary sponsors are Matco Tools, Heritage Ford (Scarborough) and U.P.R. Products.
