NHRA Finals – Canadian Photo Extra

NHRA’s season-ending AAA Auto Club Finals featured some very strong performances by Canadian participants.  Here is our Fountain Tire photo extra highlighting just some of those results…..

Toronto-native Jeff Arend drove the great looking Mooneyes/Jim Dunn Racing  Dodge at Pomona and was rewarded with a season's best qualifier - 4.067 secs (Nice!) good for #8.  Jeff beat Tim Wilkerson in round #1 before losing out to the World Champ - John Force.

The highly popular Worsham Racing/Fountain Tire "Canadiana Dodge" campaigned by Todd & Liz Lesenko was raced at Pomona with Grant Downing at the controls.  Grant's best run of 4.240 secs came on Friday but missed the field.

Edmonton's Ken Reich entered his Chevy Cobalt in Comp with Adam Bowdish driving.  The car qualified #8 in at -.580.
