Scott Wildgust and Canada’s Smokies Garage Racing Team came close to earning their 3rd career NMCA circuit title last weekend at Norwalk’s Summit Racing Motorsports Park. Scott, racing his Camaro within the VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mod category — was the quickest car overall at the event: qualifying #1 (3.644 secs) and then setting low ET (3.638 secs) during eliminations — before losing out in the final round to Ty Tutterow’s machine.
Racing this uber-cool ’58 Buick replica – North Carolina’s Ty Tutterow emerged the winner for the VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mod class.
