With Mother Nature throwing her weight around last week and postponing the PDRA opener race one week it gave all of the competitors extra time to get organized, serviced, and all shined up before the trek to Tulsa, Oklahoma. It also gave Melanie Salemi time to finalize her 2016 marketing partnership with her most prevalent sponsor, Delta Faucet. “Delta’s support has been a pivotal part in enabling me to race at the level I have my entire career. We have had a great relationship over the past 18 years and are going to be expanding our channels in 2016 with my Pro Modified “Purple Reign” Firebird being a focus of their Southern, Ontario marketing plan.” Explained Melanie.

“Other marketing relationships with Motorsports Unlimited, Quick Drive Racing, Flatout Gaskets, Castrol, Hoosier Racing Tires, Ross Pistons, B& J Transmissions, FuelTech, Atomizer Racing Injectors, Jeff Pierce, Santos Motorsports, and TT Motorsports makes it all possible for us to be on track”. Stated Salemi. Melanie looks to improve on her personal best performances and remain a consistent force on the PDRA tour in the Pro Boost class. She became the first female to win in the highly competitive Pro Boost class at Rockingham Dragway in September of 2015 and with support from her highly versatile team she has high expectations for 2016.
