A season reflection to a premier Eastern Canadian ET Bracket Racing Series….
2025 produced another impressive uptick within the Super Tour ET Bracket Racing, spearheaded by founder and Marketing Director Jérôme Beaulieu.
The 5-event series featured another dedicated season following as Eastern Canadian racers swelled to series race weekends last summer — split between Quebec’s Luskville Dragway (3) and Napierville Dragway (2) — all “double header” events — but with Luskville’s annual Bracket Bonanza being a “triple header”.
That totalled to an 11-race championship chase — with each racer’s 10 best event results counting toward the standings.
Those season championship points chases were ferocious and dramatic to the end, ultimately producing some deserving champions — including the father and son Team Lanctôt (Daniel and Alex) who were #1 for the Super Pro (Door Car) division, Stephen Ballantyne for Foot Brake and Parker Sequin for Junior Dragster class racing.

After finishing 4th last year and 3rd in 2020, Daniel and Alex Lanctôt finally climbed to the top of the Super Pro Door Car standings. The father-and-son team from St-Eustache, Québec captured their first Super Tour title with their cool Malibu — thanks to consistent strong late rounds appearances during the mid-season stretch.

Stephen Ballantyne of Luskville, Québec has been a consistent force in the Footbrake National Championship, coming painfully close to titles in 2019, 2021, and 2022 (each time finishing runner-up). His efforts prevailed however for 2025.

Parker Seguin from North Bay, Ontario successfully defended his title as 2025 Super Tour Junior Champion, winning the championship for a second straight year — convincingly by an impressive 2,000-point margin. He is regarded as one of the most promising prospects to watch for when he graduates to “big cars”.
The top achieving Super Series Overall Champion title (& Super Pro Dragster class winner) went to Smith Falls Ontario’s **Brandon Barker – part of his remarkable racing season in Eastern Canada. (**Editor’s note: More details upcoming soon – DragRaceCanada feature).
For Super Pro, the Super Series crowns two champions, based on the racer with the most overall total points. This year it was Brandon Barker who finished 1st overall, with Dan Lanctôt finishing 2nd with his door car.

Brandon Barker was a tower of power within Eastern Canadian drag racing this past summer — more details coming separately soon!
With its first decade now banked — some interesting facts about Super Tour. That includes no less than 156 main event races contested and a total of 77 different drivers having reached the winner’s circle. Over the years, 257 racers have entered the National Championship, with more than 40 competing in all ten seasons.
“The Angers Brothers and I are extremely proud to have reached the 10-year milestone of the Super Tour Drag Racing Series,” said Jerome Beaulieu. “The past decade has flown by, and our constant focus on improving the series and providing the best possible experience for our racers has made it what it is today.”
“I would like to thank everyone who has made this journey possible, the racers, the staff, the Napierville Dragway ownership, and the new Luskville Dragway management team. I also want to acknowledge the tremendous work done by Arnie Malcolm, the former owner of Luskville Dragway. The Super Tour would not exist without his dedication, and we are very fortunate to have had him as part of our team over the years.”
The 2025 Super Tour National Champions will be honoured at the Championship Banquet coming November 15th at the Hilton Garden Inn Airport Ottawa.
