Competition will be fierce with Eastern Canadian ET bracket racers vying for very high profile slots!…
The NHRA Summit Racing Series presented by Hoosier is the world’s largest motorsports program when it comes to racer participation. That NHRA product has shown notable growth over the past several seasons.
On the “Road to Vegas,” tens of thousands of drivers will compete for event wins. The eleven E.T. Finals winners receive an impressive prize package, including a Wally, jacket, and purse, along with bonus travel money for all 64 qualifiers to attend the world championship in Las Vegas. During the penultimate 2026 season national event, each championship contender can enjoy a memorable experience that includes a welcome dinner, an introduction during the pre-race ceremony at the NHRA national event, and a huge spotlight all weekend as they compete for a world championship in front of a huge Las Vegas crowd.
This year (next weekend) August 28-30, Eastern Canadian ET racers will gather at Toronto Motorsports Park to crown four class champions (Super Pro, Pro, Sportsman, and Motorcycle). Winners in the Eastern Canada Division will advance to compete for a world championship in Las Vegas (Oct. 29-Nov. 1).
NHRA has also created a $30,000 Hoosier Prize Pool, which will be shared among the E.T. Finals winners and national champions who use Hoosier Tire. This expansion gives racers a better opportunity to compete close to home and advance to the season ET racing apex event — held in conjunction with the NHRA Las Vegas Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
“Hosting the NHRA Bracket Finals at Toronto Motorsports Park for the very first time is something we’re incredibly proud of. It’s an exciting milestone for our team and for Canadian drag racing,” said Uli Bieri TMP owner. “We’ve worked hard to prepare for this event, and we look forward to welcoming the best racers from across the division to our facility. We’re hopeful this is the beginning of a long tradition of hosting championship-caliber events, and we can’t wait to showcase what Toronto Motorsports Park has to offer. Safe travels to everyone making the trip, we’re ready for an unforgettable weekend of racing!”
“When we heard the news that Toronto Motorsports Park was given the opportunity to host the 2026 Road to Vegas NHRA Division 1 Canada Bracket Finals we were so excited and proud to share our amazing track with others,” added Charlene and Luis – RCSS directors. “The Race Cayuga Sportsman Series is thrilled to team up with TMP and NHRA to bring a fun filled weekend where the best can compete for a chance to go to the World Finals in Vegas! This is an opportunity that any bracket racer would be thrilled to attend.”
“It seems fitting that Canada’s most prestigious bracket race will be contested at our finest race facility, Toronto Motorsports Park” added Glenn Grow NHRA’s Canadian representative. “We would all like to thank Summit Racing for their continued support of bracket racing here in Canada, we also welcome Hoosier Tire and John Scotti to the series.”
