Highlights from Australia’s thriving Garrett-presented Jamboree Series….

It was season round two of three for the Jamboree series — held at fabled Willowbank Raceway in Queensland – featuring top rated import and Australia-branded muscle cars.

George Rehayen and the Pac Performance team from Sydney were victorious at Willowbank with their one of a kind 20B rotary powered Mazda 6 – taking top honors in the Factory Xtreme category (presented by Precision Turbo)

In the highly competitive McTern Pro Compact eliminator – it was Alan Dodd using a string of 7.0 ETs who emerged a winner in his super quick Mazda RX2.

Jason Payne scored the Pro Turbo title (presented by McKern) racing his unique 6-seconds capable Queensland-based Nissan Skyline.

Queensland’s Neil Murphy won the Fuel Tech sponsored Pro Mod class feature racing his supercharged Chevy Camaro.

Other event winners at the Brisbane Jamboree included  Joshua Moore ( Modified 10.5) Kellie Kidd (Extreme)  Steve Smith (J315)  Danny Lownsdowne ( J275)  Teejay Graham (Street 289) Ben Davis (Street Compact) Daniel Dao (Mod Compact), Stuart Twidgle (Euro) and Paul Matheson (All Motor),

The final season race for the 2023 Jamboree calendar will be the inaugural Adelaide Jamboree to be hosted at the all new Dragway at the Bend (north of Adelaide) coming on November 4.
