The opening rounds in the Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series are all set to take place May 20-22 at the Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.

The weekend event will be the first of six races for all three drag race series in 2011.
“We’re going to have a great, well-rounded show of drag racing for the fans,” said Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations for the three series. “We have a lot of new teams for 2011, and they will be trying to keep pace with our well established and highly competitive competitors. It will be a good weekend.”

The weekend gets underway Friday May 20 with test and tuning sessions and weekend camping.
The first of three qualifying sessions for the PBSS begins at 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 21, followed by qualifying for PMRA and Quick 32 Sportsman Series entries, with the final session scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

Eliminations are to take place starting at 11:15 a.m. for the first round of Quick 32 Sportsman Series contestants Sunday May 22. The racing continues with the ERD (Engine Research & Development) Consolation Race for the PMRA. After this session, eliminations in all three series take place, with the final rounds scheduled for 6:00 p.m.
