Ontario’s Grand Bend Motorplex is proud to announce Gulf Race Fuels as the Title Sponsor of the 26th Annual Gulf Race Fuels Canadian Nationals — taking place July 31 – August 2, 2026, at Grand Bend Motorplex.
The partnership marks an exciting new chapter for one of Canada’s premier drag racing events while also expanding Gulf Race Fuels’ presence across the Ontario motorsports landscape.
In addition to becoming the title sponsor of the Canadian Nationals, Gulf Race Fuels has been named the Exclusive Race Fuel Provider for both Grand Bend Motorplex and St. Thomas Dragway. Racers at both facilities will now have access to an extensive lineup of 11 different fuel blends, including unleaded, leaded, and methanol options, ensuring every competitor can find the fuel best suited to their combination and performance needs.

The 26th Annual Gulf Race Fuels Canadian Nationals is expected to attract competitors and fans from across Canada and the United States for three days of championship drag racing action, featuring some of the sport’s top racers competing for national prestige and significant prize money.
The 2026 showcase Canadian Nationals event will include Top Fuel Dragsters, Nitro Funny Cars, Alcohol Funny Cars, A-Fuel Dragsters and IHRP Pro Modified class racing.
Various very popular exhibition jet-powered machines will also be a weekend feature — including once again the Canadian-based HELLFIRE Jet Truck (photo below).
Grand Bend’s reputed Quickest Bracket racing program in the country – including the PSDS Top Sportsman/Dragsters — will also be part of the event’s weekend menu.
