Norm qualified #7/25 cars entered and his final round 9.883 secs turned back opponent Joe Turner. According to our records – that was Norm’s 4th career win at the NHRA divisional level.

We are wishing the best for a speed recovery for Alberta’s Scott Blake. The Canadian Pro Nitrous driver was shaken up pretty good after he experienced a very violent on-track incident during last Friday’s qualifying for the PDRA’s Summer Nationals event at Martin MI. Blake, from Red Deer, AB, had his ’69 Camaro impact the retaining walls on both sides of the track and he was transported to a local hospital for evaluation — before returning to the track the next day.  Damage to his race car was – major.
