New Backing for DSE Sportsman Racing Series
HeadsUpRacer.com and Racepak Data Acquisition Systems to back Quick 12 Fast Bracket Racing Class for 2012 season….
The DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series (DSE SRS) is excited to announce the addition of the all new Quick 12 class thanks to HeadsUpRacer.com and their premier product line, Racepak Data Acquisition Systems for the 2012 season.
Ian Rae, owner of HeadsUpRacer.com and an authorized Racepak dealer inOntario, has been a huge fan and supporter of grassroots motorsports inOntarioand in fact all over the world for many years. He commented, “What Andrew and his father are doing with the DSE Sportsman series is a great thing for local sportsman racers. It is great to see a promoter give something back to the racers. I am confident this series will grow hands over fist and HeadsUpRacer.com is glad to be part of it”
“We are extremely excited to have Ian, Racepak and HeadsUpRacer.com come on board with the series.” stated series Director Andrew Stirk “We first meet Ian while attending a seminar he held about Racepak systems a few years ago, not long after we bought our first data acquisition system from him and have been reaping the benefits from it ever since”
“The HeadsUpRacer.com Quick 12 class is going to be an awesome sight for fans and a very competitive class for participants. You do not normally see qualified fields of 12 because of the bye run situation, however we plan to run a modified sportsman ladder where in round two the winners from either the 1 vs. 7 or 2 vs. 8 match-ups race for the bye run into the final. We feel this gives the top cars some incentive to be low qualifiers and possibly make their race one round shorter,” added Stirk
With a full 12-vehicle field, the HeadsUpRacer.com Quick 12 presented by Racepak will pay $1000 to win, $400 to the runner up, $225 to the semi-finalist and $75 to the quarter finalists.
The first two races of the season for the DSE Automotive Sportsman Racing Series take place on June 9th and 10th at Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park.
