Vote for Erica!

Pro Stock racing’s only female driver — Erica Enders — needs your vote!

Each year, the NHRA holds the K&N Horsepower Challenge for Pro Stock drivers. The Challenge is open to eight drivers, with the first seven to be determined by points standings from the first race after the 2010 Challenge through the race before this year’s event

Racing a part-time schedule with her former team for most of 2010, Enders doesn’t have enough points to be in the top seven. But the eighth spot in the 2011 Challenge will be decided by a fan vote, so everyone’s opinion counts.

Fans of Enders can now log on to: www.Vote4Erica.com to cast their vote for her in the Challenge. The new website has links to the official voting site, as well as information on Enders and a sweepstakes K&N Filters is holding.

Entrants will need a valid email address to vote. After registering, each voter will receive an email with a verification link to validate their vote. Voting is limited to one ballot per valid email address.

Voting closes at 6 p.m., Friday, June 17.

As part of the Challenge, K&N is holding a sweepstakes for fans, giving away a 2011 Ford Explorer XLT, as well as eight trips to Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals, which runs June 24-26 in Norwalk, Ohio, the site of this year’s Challenge

The winning driver of the K&N Horsepower Challenge race earns a $50,000 first prize. The runner-up bags $10,000, with $3,000 each to the two semifinalists, and $2,500 each to the four first-round finishers.

As part of the program, a $3,000 bonus is awarded to the No. 1 qualifier at each NHRA national event.
