Texas Motorplex track officials announced an agreement naming VP Racing Fuels the Official Racing Fuel of the Texas Motorplex for the 2011 season. VP will be the exclusive supplier of race fuels on site with VP110, C12, unleaded VP100 and an array of VP’s other specialty fuels available in drums and pails. As part of the agreement, racers also will be eligible for special VP Racing Fuels prizes and giveaways throughout the Texas Motorplex Bracket Racing Series.

 

“We are thrilled to have VP Racing Fuels as part of the Texas Motorplex family,” Motorplex General Manager Gabrielle Stevenson said. “VP does an outstanding job of providing racers of all levels the high-performance fuel they need to make every run count and we appreciate their continued support of racing from the grassroot level all the way up to the professionals.

The first event at which VP Racing Fuels will be available will be the March 5 driver’s meeting and test-n-tune. The Texas Motorplex Bracket Racing Series has its official points kickoff on Sunday, March 13. Gates open at 8 a.m., time trials begin at 10 a.m. and eliminations will start at Noon.

Texas Motorplex was the first all-concrete stadium-style drag racing facility ever constructed. Built in 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the place of many drag racing milestones and world record performances.
