Mission Raceway will host the largest and most traditional Lucas Oil Drag Racing event within Canada this coming weekend….

Super scenic Mission Raceway Park, located immediately along the banks of the Fraser River in British Columbia will host it’s LORDCO Auto Parts B.C. Nationals event, this coming weekend (June 14-17).
This “double-header” is two of six events in the NHRA Northwest division and two of the 44 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events scheduled across the country where drivers in the Lucas Series earn points leading to divisional, regional and national championships as well as a chance at a share of the year-end purse of more than $519,000. The Division’s RAD Torque Converter Top Dragster and JBS Top Sportsman series will run in conjunction with the event along with the NHRA Sportsman Motorcycle series.
Gates at Mission Raceway open at 8 a.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. on Sunday. The first race on the double-header starts with qualifying and time trials on Thursday at 9 a.m. Friday, round 1 of eliminations begin at 9 a.m. Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car competitors will compete in a single event over the weekend with their opening round of qualify at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
The second race in the double-header starts on Saturday with qualifying and time trials at 9 a.m. Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car run rounds two and three of qualifying at 1 and 5:15 p.m. Eliminations for event No. 2 begin at 9 a.m. on Sunday with round one of eliminations for Top Alcohol set for 12 noon.
Tickets for the LORDCO Auto Parts B.C. Nationals at Mission Raceway Park are $15 Thursday, $17.50 Friday, $20 Saturday and $20 Sunday. Children 12 and under are admitted free with paid adult.
